This 1951 Willys Jeepster was found in the garage of the second owner, here in Los Angeles. It was all original, down to the paint. This build was commissioned by a repeat client, so we got lucky to find such a nice one, right here in town.
• Art Morrison custom built chassis • Independent front suspension • Rack & pinion power steering • Triangulated four link rear suspension • Ford 9” rear end by Strange • Coil-over suspension • GM Ecotec four cylinder motor • Aisin AX5 five speed • Custom wheels with stock hub caps • “Elephant” vinyl seats • Mercedes canvas top skin • Hidden audio system • Modern heat system
Such a great design. A transition model for Wilys as they tried to keep the interests of the military men as they returned to civilian life. Rarely do you see these properly restored to perfection.
