This magical crew cab is a very rare body style, called "The Six-Pack". Rarely seen and highly coveted, this example was reengineered by ICON as a modern 4x4 turbo diesel daily driver. Such great proportions on this body. Inspired by the stock Custom Cab gauges, but all modern and with enhanced functionality. Unique custom materials and trim keep it pure and vintage, but bespoke and durable at the same time. Big ol' freight train! 4x4 capability, freeway flyer! No stone unturned. Precise gaps unheard of in Detroit in the 1960's! A formidable presence! The body lines on the 1965-66 Ford trucks have such great details. We took cues from the original dash, then mixed it up and fabricated everything in finer materials. Simple and clean. The wheels are a clever combination of existing new and vintage reproduction parts, for ease of service. Comfortable and stable on and off road. F O R D letters inspired the typeface for the new I C O N letters. You are not likely to see another one on the road. Certainly not one of this caliber. Finished in a unique white and silver metallic two-tone color-scheme that plays with the light. From certain angles, it appears to all be one color. ICON Designed and fabricated Custom Cab style trim is executed in nickel plated aluminum with laser cut stainless inserts. ICON Designed and fabricated Custom Cab style trim is executed in nickel plated aluminum with laser cut stainless inserts. This feature was inspired by the trim offered on the Custom Cab standard cab, but redesigned in far greater detail, in finer materials. Custom taillight trim and LED lights. Custom built rear bumper. Stock, this truck did not have a rear bumper! We do a fair amount of re-engineering. Laser scans are a valuable tool. We scan components like this to gain control of them, which then allows us to update and redesign them with precision. The final design... LED lights illuminate the bed. Other than the special plating, the grill and front bumper remain stock. I C O N letters replace the original F O R D letters, in matched typeface. Same design shows up in the side trim also. We spent some time trying to locate this rare truck. Found a great one after months of hunting. Banks Power modified 5.9 Cummins turbo diesel moves the train... No stone unturned The interior is gorgeous. Elite red leather paired with plaid inserts. Endless details abound. Seating for six. High end audio system components built into the floor, under the rear seat. All dash design elements were inspired by the originals, but stepped up in quality and continuity. For example, these are CAD designed versions of the original plastic knobs, CNC'ed in aluminum. The stock steering wheel was restored, leather wrapped, and embellished with the ICON lizard. Special ordered German weave carpet, hemmed in leather. Details matter. Full length Amp Research power steps deploy automatically when the door is open. Bluetooth audio, trailer brake control, heated seats, A/C, tilt column and so much more. Notice how the taillight design appears to be stock but we added the trim bezels from another classic Ford, and replaced the bulbs with an LED array panel. Subtle but distinct. This truck is now set up for a few more decades of enjoyment. At work! Wish I could have kept it!
