In all forms of terrain and weather--we hit our fair share of both on our family excursion--The ICON performed. Above expectation, and frankly, above my abilities as a driver. It is an awesome feeling to be in a machine that inspires me to learn to take advantage of all it has to offer. It will take years and provide an awful lot of smiles along the way. The truth is, those initial ten ICON days were magical. So many of those moments were wrapped up in smiles and laughter and awe over the machine you have created. The craftsmanship is some ways only surpassed by the insanity that is ICON! If I had to return my FJ at the end of the year, it would have been worth it. Every penny. And the fact that I get to enjoy it for years to come, perhaps long enough to witness one of my boys begging for the keys, seems like gravy. Generous gravy!

Holy sh*t, holy sh*t, holy sh*t - this ICON blows my mind!!!!! This is the coolest car I have ever owned. I freakin' love this thing. l live close to a police station and I've already been pulled over 3 times - not for anything wrong - but the guys just want to check out this ICON.
I haven't had a chance to get back to you since I got it because my wife went into labor and we had our second son last Tuesday.
Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the ICON. This truck is absolutely amazing. I can't sing your praise enough. Every little detail has been thought out to perfection!!
I have a few questions and I'll get back to you next week when I get a little more sleep. Incredible. I think I want to do either a CJ or the FJ pick-up now!!! You guys did an absolute amazing job and hopefully we'll get to do another one together soon.

For years I had been thinking of building a "rat rod". You know the kind. Rusty. Dirty. Cobbled together. Fast. Low. Then one day I see Jonathan's Derelict and I knew right then I had to have one. It's blend of dirt, power, and eloquence was the right combination. This wasn't exactly what I intended but it ended up being exactly what I never knew I wanted.
I knew immediately that it had to be a Desoto wagon. No question. I found the car and it was on!
Jonathan and I talked at length about how it was to be built. He never hesitated to answer questions and offer suggestions along the way.
I have several cars. Vintage. New. Fast. Elegant. Nothing quite compares to my Derelict. I can go out in my 2014 Stingray and have a great time. It's fast. It's sexy. On occasion I get a nod or an approving wave. The same goes for my 70 Jaguar. And so on. When I'm in the Derelict I have to make excuses to leave the gas station or the grocery store or politely move along when the light turns green because someone next to me wants to talk about the car. People don't even know what's been done to it yet they are extremely happy just to see it going down the road. This must be how famous people feel every day.
This car is absolutely perfect. The exterior is exactly as it should be. The interior is stellar. The engine.....the engine is f**king awesome! Every single aspect has been executed with the highest level of detail, attention, and care. The staff is excellent as well. Start to finish, I couldn't be happier.
This car isn't possessed but I look for any reason to exercise this demon. See what I did there?

I cannot get over the man crush love, and oozing of unbelievable ridiculous craftsmanship and all the amazingness that is this vehicle I have somehow ended up with. Just wanted to rave about this incredible vehicle I am now driving. Hope to thank you in person soon. I could not possibly be happier to have waited as long as I had to get this vehicle for myself. I guarantee your vehicles have not gone through what I have put this vehicle through in the last few days. All it does is just climb everything I point it at. You probably get one of these from every one of your clients after they take delivery, but I don’t care. My ICON BR arrived today. I am totally blown away. The components, quality, and design are even better than I expected. The thoughtfulness is obvious everywhere you look (and in everything you touch). You morphed an arguably utilitarian 70’s era truck into the most outrageous-sounding, ass-kicking piece of automotive sculpture I have had the pleasure of experiencing. THANK YOU for giving a shit about excellence.

First off, I absolutely love that truck. I've been meaning to write you for a while now, you and your team are truly artists. I figured I would love the performance but what I didn't realize is how much I would enjoy the interior aesthetics, everything is so well thought out, well placed and truly mechanical . . . love it! Now on to the FJ... wow. This truck is beautiful. Not to sound like some pretentious a-hole, but as a car junkie I’ve had every make and model of vehicle you can possibly name and this one takes the cake on quality and detail. My car junkie friends are all in awe. My friends that “didn’t get it” when I showed them pictures now completely understand. It truly is one of those “photos do absolutely no justice” type of things. My one buddy thinks you guys are building secret vehicles for high end private military missions. Is he right?? :) he’s positively convinced there’s no way you get that detailed otherwise. He doesn’t know cars but he knows quality and detail and was drooling all over this truck. You had him with the paracord zippers. I think he wishes he could have a fleet of these and drive into Mexico to tackle the drug cartels or something. Tell john and crew thank you very much! Not sure how you can portray this quality in photos and videos better it really has to be seen in person. Regardless, you need to be charging more!!! Raise the prices, just not on me if I order a bronco.
I have to say its quite astonishing how much attention the FJ gets. I have a couple sports cars, what one would expect to be the attention grabbers, but they do not compare to the Icon. It's a true testament to your company and the strength of your brand. Some know what it is and are giddy to actually see one person, while the majority are just in awe and curious, and want to know more. Despite its utility, a vehicle like this is an heirloom, something to be proud of, and something to be cherished. Many thanks again! -RS
Truck arrived today, and I’m speechless. It’s absolutely stunning. Fast as hell, thrilling and beyond any expectations. It’s everything you say these trucks are and more. What you cannot feel in the photos and videos, is all the thought, heart, soul and care in this truck that’s so tangible when you are in its presence. Every detail. Thank you all. For your vision. For your skill. For your craft. For your patience. And for the heart that went into our new Animal.

I did indeed have a car in mind and a final objective for it, which changed a bit during the course of the project. Primarily because you all made me aware of modifications and improvements which would ultimately make the Mercedes a far better car than I had hoped for. Thank you to everyone at ICON for your guidance and skill, and for making me a welcome participant in this journey. The building process was very enjoyable, but I relish the thought of this next phase.
